From when you think about starting a family through to the pregnancy, we will be there with you every step of the way.

We do pap smears and breast exams. We are comfortable discussing contraception (regular or emergency) and a range of issues.
Men’s Health
Often men neglect their health. We offer information on a range of men’s issues including urinary symptoms and erectile dysfunction.
Paediatrics
From newborns to teenagers, we are happy to consult and help with the myriad of different challenges that comes with being a parent.

Skin Checks and Minor Surgery
Regular skin checks should be done annually. We can detect and treat many lesions before they become cancer.

Regular health assessments are important for those over 45. We offer detailed health assessments as part of our focus on preventative health.
Weight Management
We offer detailed discussion of your diet and exercise regimen, offering tips to help you improve. We can also refer to allied health if necessary.
Travel Medicine
We offer counselling on the right vaccinations for travel. We help you formulate your medical kit for those little hiccups overseas.
Driver Licence Medical
We offer detailed examinations for the driver licence medical and are dedicated to ensuring that drivers remain safe on the road.
Work Cover
We are happy to do work cover claims. Please book a long appointment with our receptionist and have your employer’s details with you when you arrive.

Family Doctors Berala is a family oriented practice that is focused on delivering quality care. We aim to create a warm and friendly environment where patients can feel comfortable entrusting us with their care. We believe in empowering our patients with knowledge and that health related decisions should be undertaken together.
Family Doctors Berala is run by Dr Danny K Hua and Dr Kathy Nguyen who have inherited the practice from Dr Peter Kong in July 2018. We are very grateful for this opportunity from Dr Kong to continue his excellent tradition of patient focused care.
